Self-Image: Is yours cracked?

How do you really feel when you look in the mirror?
Let's be real – this digital era that we're living in today is brutal to say the least. Everyday we open social media to the newest, richest, prettiest, most successful influencer, casually posing in front of their yacht or multi-million-dollar mansion. It's near impossible to maintain a positive self-image amongst a sea of what seems to be perfection.
News flash!
Social media is NOT real. We only get to see a miniscule fraction of what these influencers truly do with their day. And aside from that, beauty and wealth does not create a positive sense of self.
Self-image comes from within. How you feel about yourself is vital to leading a life of happiness. Negative self-talk and criticism leads to a cracked self-image. Cut yourself some slack! You will never be where you are now again; stop critiquing and start appreciating.
Give it one week – reframe your criticising thoughts into constructive thoughts. Compliment yourself in the mirror at least once a day. Watch how the little things in your life will start to change for the better. Eventually the little things will add up, eventually leading to authentic happiness.
Let's glue your self-image back together, one piece at a time.
